Cinderella in Silhouette

A mini-project for my Costumes I class. The assignment was to design the costumes for the assigned characters from the story of Cinderella. It was a study on line, texture, and silhouette.

The assigned characters were:

Cinderella, before and after
Stepmother, dressed for the ball
Stepsisters, dressed for the ball
Cinderella's Father, dressed for the ball
The Prince, dressed for the ball

My concept was typical fairytale, though certainly trying to stay away from the Disney costumes. (especially considering her father isn't in that movie) If I DID hit those... I haven't seen that movie in at least 10 years, so it's quite unintentional, hahaha.

Also, sorry the quality is below par photo-wise. It's a pretty large piece (the photos of my models each took up a page when printed, so the poster is 18"x24". Far too large for my scanner).

We're going to try to guess who is whom in class, so they remain unlabeled.
